HeavySet for Android
HeavySet isn't on Android. Your set log doesn't have to stop there.
HeavySet, the gym workout log from Runloop Ltd, runs on iPhone and iPad only, with no Android version. On Android, Wellness Project logs sets, reps and weight fast, then tracks estimated 1RM, training volume and personal records over time.

HeavySet Android status

Is HeavySet available on Android?
No. As of September 27, 2026, HeavySet, the gym workout log made by Runloop Ltd, runs only on iPhone and iPad and has no Android release.
No developer statement about Android plans has turned up, and HeavySet has no Google Play listing under that name at all. A Health Connect sync wouldn't change that either, since HeavySet is the logging app itself, not a viewer for data that already lives somewhere else.
Which app named Heavyset this page is about
This page is about HeavySet, the gym workout log made by Runloop Ltd, the iPhone and iPad app known for fast set entry, supersets and giant sets, and progress charts for volume and estimated 1RM.
Heavyset Coaching, found on Google Play, is a different product: a coaching-client app built on the Trainerize platform for a gym or trainer business. It isn't related to Runloop Ltd or the HeavySet workout log, even though it's the only Heavyset-named app on Android.
What HeavySet does, and why Android users go looking for it
HeavySet is a gym workout log built for lifters who want to enter sets fast and see their numbers move over time. It's built around routines with supersets and giant sets, preset per-exercise rest timers, rep ranges, set ranges and AMRAP sets, plus a tempo timer and metronome for pacing controlled reps.
The other draw is what happens after the set is logged: progress charts for training volume, estimated one-rep max, reps, sets and max weight, a full exercise history with notes, and a built-in plate calculator for loading a barbell.
People search for HeavySet on Android mostly after switching phones and wanting to keep the same lifting log, or after a training partner or gym friend recommends it and they find out it's iPhone and iPad only.

Fast set entry
Log sets, reps, weight and RPE by chatting with Jamie Reyes or through the manual Train flow.
See workout tracking →Estimated 1RM and NSI
Track estimated 1RM and Normalized Strength Index alongside every logged set.

See the workout library →Training volume
See training volume trends alongside estimated 1RM and rep PRs in one history.
See workout analysis →Bring your log with you

What Wellness Project doesn't replace
HeavySet has a few lifting-specific tools built for live training that Wellness Project doesn't reproduce.
No tempo timer or metronome
HeavySet paces each rep with a built-in tempo timer and metronome. Wellness Project logs sets, reps and weight, but doesn't pace individual reps for you.
No plate calculator
HeavySet works out barbell loading with a built-in plate calculator. Wellness Project logs the total weight lifted; it doesn't include a plate math tool.
No preset per-exercise rest timers
HeavySet lets you set a rest timer for each exercise inside a routine ahead of time. On Deck includes an exercise timer while you train, but not that per-exercise preset.
No dedicated superset or giant-set structure
HeavySet routines can be built explicitly around supersets and giant sets. Wellness Project logs the sets and exercises in a workout; it doesn't have a named superset structure.
ANDROID
Made for the health tools Android users already use
You shouldn't have to switch to an iPhone to keep one connected health and training history.
Wellness Project treats Health Connect as an important part of the Android health ecosystem rather than treating Android as a stripped-down afterthought.
That lets supported data from services such as Fitbit, Oura, compatible Health Connect apps and supported smart scales become part of one history instead of living in separate dashboards.
One profile instead of another data silo
Your health data becomes more useful when training, recovery, nutrition and body trends can be seen together.

FIVE-STAR REVIEWS
What Wellness Project users are saying
“This is the fitness app we’ve all been waiting for! No more copy-and-pasting data into AI, uploading new information, and asking the same questions repeatedly. Everything is tracked in one place, and the AI actually understands your fitness journey. The fitness coach can review your workouts while the nutritionist uses that information to recommend better meals and protein intake. It feels less like a fitness tracker and more like having a team of AI coaches who know your goals and progress.”
“As someone obsessed with collecting and tracking my data, this app is everything I imagined. I was trying to get Claude to do all this myself but Wellness Project is 1000x more sophisticated. I use it for getting feedback on and planning my workouts, making data driven decisions.”
“I’ve not written a review for ages but the responsiveness of the developer is amazing and I mean amazing same day fixes. It’s so easy to use as the AI works things out from a basic input, plus it reads all your apple health data such as workouts, steps, heart rate from the watch and combines everything into recommendations.”
More than a HeavySet replacement
If you're searching for HeavySet on Android, the immediate problem is usually a new phone: you want to keep logging sets fast and watching your estimated 1RM and volume move, without giving up your lifting history.
Wellness Project isn't trying to be a pixel-for-pixel copy of HeavySet. It's built so your training history stays usable no matter which phone, wearable or scale you're on next, with an AI coach that can see the same sets, reps and progress you've been logging.
A lifting log is only as useful as the years of history behind it, and that history shouldn't be locked to one operating system.
Frequently asked questions
Is HeavySet available on Android?
No. As of September 27, 2026, HeavySet runs on iPhone and iPad only. Its developer, Runloop Ltd, has not announced an Android release.
Is there a HeavySet app on Google Play?
No. Searching Google Play for HeavySet turns up only Heavyset Coaching, an unrelated Trainerize-based coaching app for a gym or trainer business, not Runloop Ltd's workout log.
What is the best HeavySet alternative for Android?
Wellness Project. It logs sets, reps and weight, tracks estimated 1RM and Normalized Strength Index, and keeps a saved workout library, though it doesn't have a tempo timer, metronome or plate calculator.
Is Heavyset Coaching the same app as HeavySet?
No. Heavyset Coaching is a coaching-client app built on the Trainerize platform for a business branded Heavyset. It has no connection to Runloop Ltd or the HeavySet workout log.
Can I bring my HeavySet workout history to Android?
There's no direct transfer from HeavySet itself. Wellness Project's CSV import can bring in a workout log export you already have, mapping columns with AI review before anything saves.
Will my estimated 1RM and progress charts carry over if I switch to Android?
The specific numbers stay in HeavySet's own history. Wellness Project rebuilds estimated 1RM, Normalized Strength Index and training volume from the sets you log or import going forward.
Does Wellness Project work with Health Connect on Android?
Yes. Wellness Project reads supported Android health and fitness data through Health Connect, including steps, sleep, heart rate and workouts.
Is Wellness Project also available on iPhone?
Yes. Wellness Project is available on iPhone and iPad as well as Android and web.
