Oura’s sleep staging holds up against polysomnography better than any other consumer device. The HRV signal is multi-sample, overnight, and remarkably stable run-to-run. If you wear an Oura ring, you have the cleanest single dataset of any consumer quantified-self user.

Wellness Project takes that data and gives it to Evelyn (longevity), Max (biohacking), Lauryn (recovery), and Coach Jamie (training- readiness) — all of whom read it through their domain lens. You get four useful interpretations of the same dataset, not one generic one.

Do I need Oura’s subscription to use this?+
Yes — Oura’s API requires you to have an active Oura account, but Wellness Project doesn’t charge anything additional. Your Oura subscription stays separate.
Can I use Oura with Apple Watch?+
Yes. Wellness Project deduplicates intelligently — Oura is preferred for sleep and HRV, Apple Watch for daytime activity and workouts.
Does it work with the new Oura Ring 4?+
Yes. Wellness Project uses the Oura API which is forward-compatible across ring generations.
How current is the data?+
Wellness Project pulls from the Oura API on a regular schedule and whenever you open the app, so data typically lands within minutes of your phone syncing with Oura. Sleep data shows up shortly after you wake; daytime activity refreshes on each sync.
