Log meals from ChatGPT

"Log my breakfast: eggs, toast, and a smoothie." The GPT calls Wellness Project; the meal lands in your nutrition tracker; macros are estimated automatically.

Log workouts from ChatGPT

"Log my push day: bench 4x10 @185, pec fly 3x12 @200." The GPT structures the sets and reps; Wellness Project saves the workout and detects PRs.

Log sleep, weight, anything

Most modules Wellness Project tracks are callable from the GPT. Sleep, body weight, supplements, recovery sessions, lab results, wellbeing.

Read your data in ChatGPT

The GPT can pull your weekly summary, recent workouts, last night's sleep, or any specific data point and discuss it with you.

OAuth-protected

Sign in once via OAuth from the GPT; your account is bound to the connection. Revoke at any time from Settings.

Specialist-aware replies

When the GPT pulls your data, Wellness Project includes the relevant specialist context (Coach Jamie's workout history, Casey's nutrition patterns) so replies stay grounded.

In the app

The cleanest way to log: just talk.

For users who already live in ChatGPT, Wellness Project is the backend that makes your conversations actionable. You don’t open a tracker app at the end of every meal. You tell the GPT what you ate, the same way you’d tell a friend, and the data lands structured in the right place.

The same connection also means the GPT can read your data when relevant. Ask “did my running volume go up last week?” and it’ll pull your weekly mileage from Wellness Project, compare to the prior week, and answer with real numbers.

For users who prefer Claude, a separate native MCP server exposes the same data layer at /api/mcp. ChatGPT users get the Custom GPT path; Claude users get MCP. Both reach the same tools.

Does this require ChatGPT Plus?+
Custom GPT use sits behind OpenAI's plan tiers. Plus and Team include it; free-tier access has expanded over time, so check your ChatGPT account if you're unsure.
Is my data shared with OpenAI?+
Only the data the GPT pulls during your active conversation. We don't batch-export your data to OpenAI; the model only sees the slice it asks for, when it asks.
How do I connect ChatGPT?+
Settings → ChatGPT in Wellness Project links to the pre-built Wellness Project GPT. Open it, sign in via OAuth, and start talking. No installation, no MCP setup.
Can I build my own Custom GPT against the API?+
Yes. The OpenAPI spec is at /api/v1/openapi.json. Use it to wire your own GPT or any other OAuth-aware client to the same REST endpoints our GPT calls.
