ChatGPT
Wellness Project is a ChatGPT fitness tracker you control with conversation.
Wellness Project connects to ChatGPT as a custom app (formerly “connector”) over the same OAuth-protected MCP server Claude uses. Add it to a chat, tell ChatGPT what you ate, how you trained, how you slept, your data lands in the right tracker, your AI specialists pull it on their next reply, and you never open a separate app.

What's inside
Your fitness data layer, inside ChatGPT
Log meals from ChatGPT
"Log my breakfast: eggs, toast, and a smoothie." ChatGPT calls Wellness Project; the meal lands in your nutrition tracker; macros are estimated automatically.
Log workouts from ChatGPT
"Log my push day: bench 4x10 @185, pec fly 3x12 @200." ChatGPT structures the sets and reps; Wellness Project saves the workout and detects PRs.
Log sleep, weight, anything
Most modules Wellness Project tracks are callable from the app. Sleep, body weight, supplements, recovery sessions, lab results, wellbeing.
Read your data in ChatGPT
ChatGPT can pull your weekly summary, recent workouts, last night's sleep, or any specific data point and discuss it with you. For your Fit Score, training, sleep, nutrition, steps, recovery, runs, body weight, and lift progress, it renders the answer as one of eleven interactive inline charts, each with a 7d/30d/90d/1y range toggle.
OAuth-protected
Sign in once via OAuth when you add the app; your account is bound to the connection. Revoke at any time from Settings.
Specialist-aware replies
When ChatGPT pulls your data, Wellness Project includes the relevant specialist context (Coach Jamie's workout history, Casey's nutrition patterns) so replies stay grounded.
In the app
The cleanest way to log: just talk.
For users who already live in ChatGPT, Wellness Project is the backend that makes your conversations actionable. You don’t open a tracker app at the end of every meal. You tell ChatGPT what you ate, the same way you’d tell a friend, and the data lands structured in the right place.
The same connection also means ChatGPT can read your data when relevant. Ask “did my running volume go up last week?” and it’ll pull your weekly mileage from Wellness Project, compare to the prior week, and answer with real numbers.
ChatGPT and Claude reach the exact same data layer at /api/mcp, our native MCP server. In ChatGPT you add it as a custom app on a paid plan (turn on Developer Mode at chatgpt.com under Settings → Apps, then Create); in Claude you add it as a custom connector. Same OAuth, same tools, no custom GPT and no separate API to wire up.
