Pillow for Android
Pillow isn't on Android. Your sleep history can be.
Pillow: Sleep Tracker runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, with no Android build from Neybox Digital Ltd. Wellness Project reads sleep on Android through Health Connect and connects it to your training, HRV and nutrition instead of leaving it in its own app.

Pillow Android status

Is Pillow available on Android?
No. As of September 27, 2026, Pillow: Sleep Tracker, made by Neybox Digital Ltd., runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. There is no Android build and no Google Play listing under that developer.
Neybox has not published a statement ruling Android in or out, but there is no beta, no waitlist and no Android listing to be found. Third-party sites that track platform coverage, including AlternativeTo's own Android page for Pillow, already treat it as an iOS-only app and list substitutes rather than a way to run it on Android.
Which Pillow this page is about
This page is about Pillow: Sleep Tracker from Neybox Digital Ltd., the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch app built around automatic sleep tracking and a smart alarm. It has no Android version.
Google Play does have an app called Pillow Path | Sleep Tracker, made by Asana Rebel GmbH. It is a separate, newer sleep-habit app with daily check-ins, sleep quality logging and personalized tips, from a different company entirely. A Google Play listing called Smart Pillow is also unrelated, a companion app for smart-pillow hardware. Neither is the app described on this page.
What Pillow does, and why Android users go looking for it
Pillow tracks sleep automatically from an iPhone's motion and microphone, or from Apple Watch for heart-rate-based analysis, without requiring a wearable. It offers a choice between Neybox's own sleep-stage algorithm and Apple's native Sleep Stages analysis, and its smart alarm wakes you at the lightest point in a sleep cycle within a set window rather than at a fixed time. Overnight, it records audio events such as snoring, sleep talking and possible sleep apnea sounds, then charts sleep trends against other Apple Health metrics like activity and heart rate, alongside sleep debt and consistency tracking. Custom Apple Watch faces and complications give a quick glance at last night's sleep, and history syncs across a user's Apple devices through iCloud.
It is a freemium app: a free base version plus Pillow Premium as a subscription with a trial, which is common for the sleep-tracking category on iPhone.
People go looking for Pillow on Android after switching phones and wanting to keep the same automatic tracking and smart alarm, or after hearing about it from a partner or gym friend who still carries an iPhone. Many of them land on Pillow Path by mistake first, a similarly named but unrelated app, which is why sorting out the two matters before recommending anything.
SIDE BY SIDE
Pillow vs. Wellness Project for Android
Pillow's trick is recording sleep automatically with the phone's own sensors, something no Android app can replicate without them. Here is what an Android user can do with that sleep data instead.
| Feature | Pillow | Wellness Project |
|---|---|---|
| Native Android app | Not available | Available |
| Google Play | No Google Play listing | Available on Google Play |
| How sleep gets recorded | Automatic, from iPhone motion and microphone or Apple Watch | Reads sleep from Health Connect and connected wearables |
| Sleep stages | Awake, Light, Deep, REM, from its own algorithm or Apple Sleep Stages | Awake, Light, Deep and REM when a connected source provides them |
| Smart alarm | Wakes you at the lightest point in a set window, iPhone only | No smart alarm; sleep score and consistency shown after you wake |
| Audio recording | Records snoring, sleep talk and possible apnea sounds overnight | No audio recording of any kind |
| Sleep trends and correlation | Sleep charted against other Apple Health metrics | Sleep score, duration and consistency shown alongside training, HRV and nutrition |
| Data export | CSV export of sleep history from Manage Data in Settings | Export All My Data in Settings, across every tracked category |
| Recovery and HRV context | Sleep trends correlated with Apple Health activity and heart rate | Sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and recovery sessions in one history |
| iPhone availability | Available | Available |

What Android users can use instead for sleep
Pillow's sleep stages and trend charts have a real equivalent in Wellness Project, built from data Health Connect already has.
Sleep stages and score
See sleep duration, stages, bedtime, wake time and a nightly sleep score from a connected source.
See sleep tracking →Health Connect
Wellness Project reads compatible Android sleep and health data through Health Connect instead of recording it with the phone.
See Health Connect support →HRV and recovery
Heart rate variability and resting heart rate sit next to sleep so a short night has visible context, not just a number.
See heart and HRV tracking →Training history
Sleep score and consistency show up alongside logged workouts, so a hard session and a short night are not read in isolation.
See workout tracking →Nutrition
Meals, calories and macros sit in the same history as sleep, since diet and sleep are both part of one health picture.
See nutrition tracking →AI sleep context
Ask an AI specialist about a sleep pattern with your training and recovery history already in view.

What Wellness Project doesn't replace
Pillow's core trick is recording sleep with the phone itself, and that stays specific to Pillow.
Does not record sleep with the phone
Pillow listens with an iPhone's motion sensor and microphone to detect sleep automatically. Wellness Project does not record sleep itself; it reads sleep data that a connected device or app already saved.
See how sleep tracking works →No smart alarm
Pillow's smart alarm wakes you at the lightest point in a set window. Wellness Project has no alarm feature; it shows your sleep score and consistency after you wake up.
No audio recording
Pillow records snoring, sleep talking and possible apnea sounds overnight. Wellness Project has no microphone-based recording of any kind.
No Apple Watch or Wear OS app
Wellness Project has no watch app of its own. Sleep and heart data arrive through Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iPhone once a connected source writes it there.

ANDROID
Made for the health tools Android users already use
You shouldn't have to switch to an iPhone to keep one connected health and training history.
Wellness Project treats Health Connect as an important part of the Android health ecosystem rather than treating Android as a stripped-down afterthought.
That lets supported data from services such as Fitbit, Oura, compatible Health Connect apps and supported smart scales become part of one history instead of living in separate dashboards.
One profile instead of another data silo
Your health data becomes more useful when training, recovery, nutrition and body trends can be seen together.

FIVE-STAR REVIEWS
What Wellness Project users are saying
“This is the fitness app we’ve all been waiting for! No more copy-and-pasting data into AI, uploading new information, and asking the same questions repeatedly. Everything is tracked in one place, and the AI actually understands your fitness journey. The fitness coach can review your workouts while the nutritionist uses that information to recommend better meals and protein intake. It feels less like a fitness tracker and more like having a team of AI coaches who know your goals and progress.”
“As someone obsessed with collecting and tracking my data, this app is everything I imagined. I was trying to get Claude to do all this myself but Wellness Project is 1000x more sophisticated. I use it for getting feedback on and planning my workouts, making data driven decisions.”
“I’ve not written a review for ages but the responsiveness of the developer is amazing and I mean amazing same day fixes. It’s so easy to use as the AI works things out from a basic input, plus it reads all your apple health data such as workouts, steps, heart rate from the watch and combines everything into recommendations.”
A sleep history that outlasts one phone
If you're searching for Pillow on Android, the immediate problem is usually a phone switch: you liked seeing sleep stages and a consistency score every morning and don't want to lose that habit.
Wellness Project does not try to record sleep the way Pillow does. It reads sleep data from Health Connect and from connected wearables like Oura, Fitbit or WHOOP, then puts that sleep score next to the training, HRV and nutrition history already in the same app.
That matters past this one comparison. A sleep score means more when it sits beside the workout that came before it and the recovery signals that came after, not alone in a single-purpose app tied to one phone.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pillow available on Android?
No. As of September 27, 2026, Pillow: Sleep Tracker is built by Neybox Digital Ltd. for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, with no Android app and no announced Android release.
Is there a Pillow app on Google Play?
Not from Neybox Digital Ltd. Google Play does have an app called Pillow Path | Sleep Tracker from Asana Rebel GmbH, a separate sleep-habit app that is not the same product.
What is the best Pillow alternative for Android?
Wellness Project. It runs natively on Android and reads sleep stages, score and consistency through Health Connect, though it does not record sleep with the phone or offer a smart alarm the way Pillow does.
Will my Pillow sleep history transfer to Android?
No. Pillow's sleep database lives inside its own iPhone app and syncs across a person's Apple devices through iCloud, so there is no path to bring that history into an Android app.
Is Pillow Path on Google Play the same app as Pillow?
No. Pillow Path | Sleep Tracker is made by Asana Rebel GmbH, a different company with a different app: daily check-ins and sleep-habit tips rather than automatic overnight tracking. It is not connected to Neybox Digital Ltd.
Does Pillow require an Apple Watch?
No. Pillow can track sleep from an iPhone alone using motion and microphone. Using it with an Apple Watch adds heart-rate-based analysis on top of that.
Does Wellness Project work with Health Connect for sleep?
Yes. Wellness Project reads supported sleep data through Health Connect on Android, including duration, stages when a source provides them, sleep score, bedtime and wake time.
Can Wellness Project show sleep alongside HRV and training?
Yes. Sleep score and consistency sit in the same history as heart rate variability, resting heart rate and logged workouts, so a short night has visible context instead of sitting in its own app.
Is Wellness Project also available on iPhone?
Yes. Wellness Project is available on iPhone as well as Android and web, so the same sleep and training history carries across a phone switch.
