Is there a Health Connect MCP server?
There is no Health Connect MCP server from Google. Wellness Project reads Android Health Connect on your phone with a permission you grant once, stores that history, and serves it to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Mistral Le Chat over one MCP server.
That is the working answer: Google does not publish one, but the connection exists and takes about five minutes. Wellness Project runs the MCP server itself, reading Health Connect directly on your phone once you grant permission and holding that history so any of the four assistants can query it during a chat.
Your Android health data, and where it actually lives
On Android there is no single "Android Health" app the way iPhone has Apple Health. Instead, each tracker writes its own data into Health Connect, the on-device hub Android ships with. Samsung Health, the Pixel Watch, and most third-party trackers all write there, whether or not you have ever opened a Health Connect screen yourself.
That is what makes one grant enough. Because every device already funnels into the same hub, granting Wellness Project read access to Health Connect once covers whatever is writing there, without a separate connection for each tracker.
Set it up in five steps
Five pieces line up in order: the Wellness Project app, the Health Connect permission, the MCP connector in Claude, the same connector in whichever other assistant you use, and then you ask. Each step takes about a minute.
Get the Wellness Project app
Download Wellness Project for iPhone or Android with the buttons above, or sign in on the web. Signing in with Apple or Google takes one tap, the account is free during early access, and this is the app that stores your synced history and serves it to Claude and ChatGPT over MCP.
Grant Health Connect permission on your Android phone
Open Health Connect on your Android phone and grant Wellness Project read access to steps, sleep, heart rate, and HRV. Because every tracker feeding the hub, Samsung Health, Pixel, and most third-party apps included, already writes into Health Connect, this one grant brings all of them along.
Add the Wellness Project MCP connector to Claude
In claude.ai, add wellnessproject.ai/api/mcp as a custom connector and authorize it through your Wellness Project account. Claude Desktop syncs the connector from claude.ai.
Add the connector to ChatGPT, Grok, or Mistral Le Chat
The same wellnessproject.ai/api/mcp address works as a custom connector in ChatGPT and Grok, and both sign you in with no extra fields. Mistral Le Chat is the one that asks for a Client ID under Advanced settings; the shared, paste-ready one is published on the Mistral integration page.
Ask about your data in plain language
Open a chat in whichever assistant you connected and ask. Each one reads the structured Health Connect history Wellness Project holds and answers against your own numbers instead of a single day's reading.
One MCP server, four assistants
All four assistants read the same Wellness Project MCP server, so the Health Connect setup above only has to happen once. Adding an assistant afterward is a connector step, not a new sync.
Claude and ChatGPT both register the connector automatically, no extra fields. Grok does the same, it self-registers over OAuth with no Client ID to paste. Mistral Le Chat is the exception: it requires a Client ID for any custom connector, and that integration page has a shared one ready to paste.
Health Connect is not Google Health
Health Connect and Google Health sound related and are not the same product. Health Connect is the on-device hub on your Android phone that lets trackers share data with each other, which is what this guide connects. Google Health is a separate consumer app, the one Fitbit became in May 2026, reached through Google's Health API rather than Health Connect. If your Fitbit account is what you are trying to connect, see connecting Google Health to AI instead, or the full comparison if you are still sorting out which product is which.
Give Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Mistral your real Android health history.
Grant Health Connect permission once, add the MCP connector to whichever assistant you use, and ask about your actual trends. Free during early access.
