Is there a Google Health MCP server?
There is no Google Health MCP server from Google. Wellness Project connects to Google's Health API over OAuth, stores the synced history, and exposes it to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Mistral Le Chat through one MCP server.
That hosted server is the working path today, not a community repo you self-host. Google Health is the app Fitbit became in May 2026, and it ships no MCP of its own, so Wellness Project is the layer that makes one connection reach all four assistants.
What Wellness Project reads from Google Health
Once your Fitbit account is connected, Wellness Project reads what Google's Health API syncs from it: steps, sleep stages, resting heart rate, and HRV where your device syncs it. Those arrive as structured rows, not a raw export, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Mistral Le Chat can all read a trend across weeks instead of a single day's number.
Your Fitbit device is unchanged. The app it syncs to became Google Health in May 2026, and the Fitbit Web API that developers used sunsets on September 30, 2026, which is why the connection now runs on Google's Health API. Which of Google's three health products you actually have is worth pinning down before you connect, and the three-way comparison does that.
Set it up in five steps
Three pieces line up in order: your Fitbit account connected to Wellness Project, the MCP connector added to whichever assistant you use, and then you ask. Each step takes about a minute.
Get the Wellness Project app
Download Wellness Project for iPhone or Android with the buttons above, or sign in on the web. Signing in with Apple or Google takes one tap, the account is free during early access, and this is the app that stores your synced history and serves it to Claude and ChatGPT over MCP.
Connect your Fitbit account in Wellness Project
Open Settings, Devices, Fitbit, and authorize through Google's Health API. In Wellness Project this connection is called Fitbit, because Fitbit is the account you own. Google Health is Google's API behind it. You get about a year of history at connect, and it keeps building from there.
Add the Wellness Project MCP connector to Claude
In claude.ai, add wellnessproject.ai/api/mcp as a custom connector and authorize it through your Wellness Project account. Claude Desktop syncs the connector from claude.ai.
Add the connector to ChatGPT, Grok, or Mistral Le Chat
The same wellnessproject.ai/api/mcp connector works in ChatGPT and Grok as a custom connector, and both register themselves with no Client ID to paste. Mistral Le Chat is the one that asks for a Client ID under Advanced settings; use the shared one published on the Mistral integration page, which walks through that one extra field.
Ask about your data in plain language
Open a chat in whichever assistant you connected and ask about your Google Health history directly. Each one reads the same structured rows Wellness Project synced, so the answer comes from your own numbers rather than a generic average.
Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Mistral Le Chat
All four read the same synced Google Health history through the same wellnessproject.ai/api/mcp server, but the connection step looks slightly different in each. Claude and ChatGPT add it as a custom connector and register automatically. Grok does the same, no Client ID or API key to paste.
Mistral Le Chat is the exception: it requires a Client ID for any custom MCP connector, which Wellness Project publishes as a shared, paste-ready value on its integration page. That is one extra field, not extra difficulty, and once it is in place Le Chat reads and answers from the same Google Health history as the other three.
What to ask whichever assistant you connected
Try "Which month this year had my lowest average resting heart rate?" "Are my deep sleep minutes holding up as my weekly step count climbs?" or "Compare my last four weeks of activity against the same four weeks a season ago." Because all four assistants query the same synced Google Health rows, you can ask one of them a question and check the answer in another.
Give every assistant your real Google Health history.
Connect your Fitbit account through Google's Health API once, then add the MCP connector to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or Mistral Le Chat. Free during early access.
