Amazfit MCP
Amazfit ships no MCP server. Wellness Project is the one that works.
Your Amazfit watch records into the Zepp app, and neither ships a Model Context Protocol endpoint. Zepp writes to Apple Health on iPhone and Google Health Connect on Android. Wellness Project reads that hub and serves your steps, sleep and workouts to Claude and ChatGPT.

What's inside
What's inside
Amazfit data, MCP-readable
Steps, sleep stages, resting heart rate and workouts recorded on a T-Rex, GTR, Cheetah or Balance arrive through Apple Health or Health Connect and serve to any MCP client.
Runs keep their detail
An Amazfit run arrives with duration, distance and heart rate rather than a summary tile, so the model can compare this week against last.
Nothing to self-host
The amazfit-mcp repos on GitHub ask for your Zepp login and a server to keep running. This is hosted, signed into once, revocable from Settings.
Works with Claude and ChatGPT
The same MCP server answers both. Add Wellness Project to Claude Desktop or claude.ai, or connect it as a ChatGPT plugin, and your device data is in the conversation.
Ask, do not export
"How did my sleep track this week against my resting heart rate?" The model pulls the structured rows and reasons over them. No CSV, no copy-paste, no manual export.
Specialist context travels with the data
When Claude reads your workouts, it sees the same context Coach Jamie sees: weekly volume, stale lifts, PRs, RIR cues. The MCP layer carries the interpretation, not just the raw numbers.
Signed in with OAuth, revocable
You approve the connector with your Wellness Project login. No API key to generate or paste, and you can revoke it from settings at any time.
Step by step
How it works
- 1Sign up free
Create a Wellness Project account on iPhone, Android, or web. Free during early access.
- 2Connect your device
Open Settings, Devices, and connect your tracker. Steps, sleep, and heart data start syncing automatically.
- 3Add the connector
Add Wellness Project as an MCP server in Claude Desktop or claude.ai, or connect it as a ChatGPT plugin.
- 4Ask your AI
Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your steps, sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, and runs. The model reads the structured rows.
In the app
In the app
GitHub is full of unmaintained device-mcp repos you would have to clone, configure, and keep running yourself. Wellness Project is the hosted, native MCP server. You connect once and it stays connected.
No self-hosting, no tokens to refresh by hand, no broken community repo. The same data Coach Jamie reads is the data your AI reads.
Want to see the tool surface first? The Wellness Project MCP server and tool catalog are documented publicly on GitHub.
