Your Health Data Is Moving Into Your AI Assistant. Wellness Project Is Now in Claude.
As one in three Americans turns to AI chatbots for health questions and the major assistants race to connect wearables and records, Wellness Project brings a person's full fitness and health picture, from every app and device they use, into Claude's connector directory.

BEVERLY, Mass., October 2, 2026 – The place people go to understand their health is shifting. A third of U.S. adults now use AI chatbots for health reasons, according to Pew Research Center, and nearly half own a wearable, according to Rock Health. In the past year Anthropic, Microsoft and Google have each moved to connect health data directly to their AI assistants. Today Wellness Project, the AI health and fitness app, is available in Claude's connector directory, so anyone using Claude can bring in their workouts, meals, sleep, recovery, lab results and wearable data.
The typical health-conscious person's data is scattered. Steps and sleep sit in a watch or ring app, lifts in a training log, meals in a nutrition tracker, blood work in a PDF. Each app sees one slice, and an AI assistant, however capable, can only reason about what it can reach.
The assistants are moving to close that gap. Anthropic opened Apple Health and Android Health Connect connections to Claude in January. Microsoft launched Copilot Health in March, connecting more than 50 wearable devices. Google rebuilt the Fitbit app as the Google Health app with a Gemini-powered coach in May. The connective layer underneath many of these integrations, the open Model Context Protocol, was donated to the Linux Foundation's new Agentic AI Foundation last December with more than 10,000 published servers.
Wellness Project is built for that shift. It merges data from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Fitbit, Oura, Withings, Polar, Ultrahuman, Hevy, Liftosaur and more into a single record, then lets people work with it in the app or in the assistant they already use. Wellness Project users already connect it from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Cursor.
Inside Claude, that means a person can ask how last week's sleep lined up with their training, whether protein kept pace with a heavier lifting block, or simply say what they had for lunch, and get an answer grounded in their own history. Fifteen tools render interactive charts and cards directly in the conversation, covering training, sleep, nutrition, steps, recovery, runs and body composition.
Getting started takes under a minute: open the Wellness Project listing at claude.ai/directory/wellness-project, click Connect, and sign in.
People already ask AI about their health every day, but the assistant usually knows nothing about them. The interesting shift isn't a new chatbot, it's the assistant you already use finally being able to see your sleep, your training and your meals in one place. We want your health record to follow you into whichever AI you choose, and the Claude directory makes that simple.
Among chatbot health users, Pew found that only 29% say they are extremely or very comfortable sharing personal health information with a chatbot, and trust is the condition for this shift. Access to Wellness Project runs through a standard sign-in to the user's own account. Claude sees data only when the user asks, tools that add or change entries act only on request, and the connection can be removed at any time. Wellness Project is informational software, not a medical product. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
Wellness Project appears in the directory as a Community connector, built and maintained by Wellness Project LLC. The app is available on iPhone, Android and the web at wellnessproject.ai, with Free Basic and Founder Pro at $4.99/month through October 15.
