The short answer
Garmin has no direct connection into Wellness Project today. The working path is a relay: Garmin Connect writes your data into Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, and Wellness Project reads that hub. Whoop and Samsung reach us the same way. Fitbit, Oura, Withings, and Apple Health connect directly, with no relay step.
That relay works today and is worth setting up if you want your Garmin history in Wellness Project now. Below it, this page also collects interest in a direct Garmin connection, separate from the relay.
Set up the relay in three steps
Turn on Garmin Connect's health sync
On iPhone, open Garmin Connect, go to Settings, then Apple Health, and turn on the categories you want shared: steps, workouts, heart rate, and sleep. On Android, grant Garmin Connect permission to write to Health Connect. This is the step that puts your Garmin data somewhere Wellness Project can read it.
Connect Apple Health or Health Connect in Wellness Project
In Wellness Project, open integrations and connect Apple Health or Health Connect, then grant read access. Whatever Garmin Connect has written into the hub syncs into your Wellness Project history from there.
Read it in the app, Claude, or ChatGPT
Once the history is in Wellness Project, it shows up in the app directly, and Claude or ChatGPT can read it over the Wellness Project MCP connector, the same one Fitbit and Oura data flows through.
Tell us a direct connection matters
The relay above works, but it is an extra step Fitbit and Oura users skip. If you would rather Garmin connect directly, leave your email below. We count it as demand for a direct integration.
Get your Garmin history into a coach that reads it.
Set up the Apple Health or Health Connect relay now, or join the list above for a direct connection. Free during early access. iPhone, Android, and web.
