Export your Fitbit data through Google Takeout
Google Takeout is the current path for downloading a copy of your Fitbit data. Use it when you want a personal archive, need to move your data, or want a file you can keep outside the app.
Apri Google Takeout
Sign in to Google Takeout with the Google account connected to Fitbit.
Select Google Health
Choose Google Health from the list of data you can export, then continue to the export options.
Create the export
Start the export and let Google prepare the archive.
Download it when Google notifies you
Use the download link from Google to save your export somewhere you trust.
Keep it connected instead of exporting again
If you are exporting Fitbit data because you want to actually use it, not just archive it, a live connection can save you from repeating the export. See the Fitbit integration, or connect it to Claude o ChatGPT and ask about your own data directly.
Keep your Fitbit data connected, not exported once.
